Third International Workshop of the Laboratory for Comparative Social Research

The Third International LCSR Research Workshop will take place on April 26-30, 2013 in St.Petersburg, Russia. The Laboratory for Comparative Social Research (National Research University Higher School of Economics) invites you to a five days research workshop devoted to rigorous quantitative comparative social studies in cross-country and cross-regional perspective. The deadline for submission is March 1, 2013.

The workshop sessions are in:

  • Social Solidarity and Welfare States
  • Nationalism, Ethnicity and Conflicts
  • Political Regimes, Elections and Elites
  • Religiosity, Tolerance and Family Behaviour
  • Social Change and Genetic Diversity
  • Gender, Work and Life Satisfaction
  • Migration, Value Change and Nationalism
  • Happiness and Values of Generations
  • Innovative Consumption, Bribery and Corruption

Keynote speakers include Ronald Inglehart (University of Michigan, USA), Christian Welzel (Leuphana University, Germany), Eduard Ponarin (NRU HSE, Saint-Petersburg, Russia), AryeRattner (University of Haifa), and Benjamin Lind (HSE).

Working language of the workshop is English. There is no registration fee for the workshop.

The application deadline for the participation with paper presentation and membership in LCSR research network is March 1, 2013.
