Assistant Professorships (tenure-track) in Sociology at the NRU-HSE for positions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Perm

The Faculty of Sociology of the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia (and its branch in Perm and St. Petersburg) invites applications for full-time, tenure-track positions of Assistant Professor in all areas of sociology. We welcome candidates with excellent backgrounds in all sub-fields and a proven ability to conduct high-level research based upon empirical techniques using appropriate research designs and methods.

Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Sociology or related field
- native or fluent English (knowledge of Russian is not required)
- an ability and high motivation to conduct high-quality research publishable in reputable peer-reviewed journals

The appointments will be made for three years in the first instance, starting in September 2014, with reviews of teaching and research during the third year.
