Finan, Frederico

Frederico Finan is an assistant professor of economics at the University of California, Berkeley. After receiving his PhD in Agriculture and Resource Economics from UC-Berkeley in 2006, he was an assistant professor of economics at UCLA. He is also an affiliate of the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development(BREAD), and a research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). His main research interests lie in the intersection of development economics and political economy. His recent work focuses on how political incentives and institutions shape public policy.
