International Workshop

Workshop on Human Capital, Patenting Activity, and Technology Spillovers

Organized by the
Centre for Economic and Business Research (CEBR)
at Copenhagen Business School
Copenhagen September 18 – 19, 2007

Presentation

The purpose of this 1½-days workshop is to bringing together researchers working on issues related to technology spillovers and patenting activity. A non-exhaustive list of relevant topics is: competition and patents, labor mobility and technology spillovers and patent systems.
It will be a small workshop with enough time for interaction and discussion. We expect 8-10 papers to be presented and 20-25 researchers to participate in the workshop. Papers should be submitted in pdf-format by e-mail to:
submission.cebr@cbs.dk .

Submissions

Deadline for submissions: July 16, 2007.

A decision concerning the submissions will be reached in the beginning of August. Travel expenses (an economy class flight) and accommodation (two nights) will be provided for presenters and discussants of papers.

Notice that the workshop takes place the days before the 2nd annual EPIP conference in Lund: http://www.epip.eu/conferences/epip02/. There is thus
the possibility of participating in the workshop and continuing to Lund on September 20 (50 min. by train).

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Copenhagen!
