September 16th to Saturday, September 18th, 2010
at the Pedro Barrie de la Maza Foundation in Coruña, Spain.

Presentation
International Conference on Applied Business and Economics (ICABE) will be held from Thursday, September 16th to Saturday, September 18th, 2010 at the Pedro Barrie de la Maza Foundation in Coruña, Spain. The ICABE 2010 will be the gathering place for academics and professionals from related fields from all over the world.
The main goal of the ICABE 2010 is to provide an opportunity for academics and professionals from a variety of fields to meet and exchange ideas and expertise. An additional goal of the ICABE is to provide a place for academics and professionals with inter-disciplinary interests related to business-economics to interact with members within and outside their own particular disciplines.
Special sessions for graduate students (MSc and Ph.D candidates, with 50% discount in the registration fee) have been scheduled during the last day of the Conference with 3 of the best papers to be published in one of the 5 international journals participating in the conference according to the publishing requirements of each journal. The best 3 papers will be selected by the Scientific Committee of the Conference and they do not have to pay the registration fee.

Publication
Selected papers will be published in one of the following international journals participating in the Conference according to the publishing requirements of each journal:
4. American Journal of Economics and Business Administration (will dedicate a special issue for publication of selected articles presented at the conference for more citation and world wide readership).
5. International Review of Applied Economic Research (selected papers will be published in future issues).

Call for papers
The ICABE organizers invited anyone who wished to present a paper to submit an abstract in English by July 30th, 2010 through our online submission form .
Submitting a Paper
The abstract should be about 200-300 words. All fields of specialization within business and economics will be taken into consideration. You will receive a notification by e-mail once your paper is accepted (or rejected). By submitting an abstract, you also agree to contribute to the discussions and/or to their session Chair and Discussants within your area of specialization. The web form provides an opportunity to identify your areas of specialization. A participant may not present more than two papers. Consequently, you cannot register more than two papers for presentation unless a third paper is presented by a co-author who also is registered to participate in the conference.
Besides the abstract registration, full-length papers can be submitted either by providing a web link to a corresponding PDF file on the registration form, or by uploading a PDF file to the ICABE server by following the link on the bottom of the registration confirmation page. Paper/hard copy submissions will not be accepted. In all cases, presenters are required to provide to their session chair and discussant a copy of their paper (preferably electronically) at least 2 weeks prior to the conference.
Please note that in order to attend or present a paper, you must register for the conference. Registration is made online through the conference website or by a bank deposit. We strongly encourage those contributing papers to become members of the International Strategic Management Association. You may join the ISMA and register after you find out whether your paper is accepted for presentation. In any case, do not delay too long since late registration involves a higher fee.
