Higher World University Rankings
The Times
Higher World University Rankings, compiled by QS
Quacquarelli Symonds Network, represent a first attempt
to compare the world's top universities.
The ranking is available on the Times
Higher Education Supplement (THES) website - which offers
a free registration for 14 days - and is based on the following
multiple indicators:
Peer reviewing, based on a poll of 1,300 academics
in 88 countries.
The Teachers/Students ratio.
The internationalization rate, given by the percentage
of the academic staff and of the students coming from other
countries.
The number of research citations, based on the Essential
Science Indicators edited by Thomson
Scientific.
