First Workshop on Gender Economics

Call for papers
The I Spanish Workshop on Gender Economics will take place on June 30, 2008, at the Palace Carmen de la Victoria, Granada. The aim of the Workshop is to offer young researchers interested in gender economics a forum for the presentation and discussion of research papers representing current advances in the field.
Juan José Dolado (University Carlos III, Madrid) and Shoshana Neuman (Bar-Ilan University, Israel) will give the keynote lectures in this first edition. In addition, there will be 10 papers to be discussed in morning and afternoon sessions. For more details, visit http://www.fedea.es/genderworkshop
Submissions for presentation should include an abstract and, when possible, the paper itself in PDF format (one single file, including tables and figures). Preference will be given to submissions that include a complete paper.
Accomodation in double rooms will be paid for participants who present a paper. Lunch and dinner will be freely provided. There is no registration fee.
The submission deadline is April, 4 2008. Acceptance decisions will be communicated by the end of April. We particularly encourage graduate students to apply. Please, send your paper to (granadalab@gmail.com). The Subject must contain ABSTRACT followed by your name.
