Scope and Issues

The Social Capital Foundation invites all interested persons or organizations to present a paper to one or both of its upcoming international, interdisciplinary conference that will be held respectively on September 21-22, 2005 and September 23-24, 2005 in the beautiful island of Malta.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Conference on Social Capital, 21-22 September, 2005:

• Definition of Social Capital
• Importance of Social Capital
• Social Capital and Social Cohesion
• Social Networks
• Social Capital and Mental Health
• Individualism and Collectivism
• Measurement of Social Capital
• Applications of Social Capital
• Community and Diversity

Deadline

Potential speakers should submit a 1 to 2 pages abstract. This abstract must contain title, subject, content structure, main hypoteses, summarized methodology, and probable conclusions. Abstracts should be sent to conferences@socialcapital-foundation.org.
The very last deadline is June 30, 2005.
