• Network IDEAs
IDEAs or International Development Economics Associates is a pluralist network of progressive economists across the world. It seeks to undertake and promote a range of activities including research, teaching, dissemination and application of critical analyses of economic policy and development. • Center for Aid and Public Expenditure (CAPE)
CAPE carries out high quality policy-focused research on aid instruments, budget processes and the reform of public expenditure systems

• Center for International Development (CID)
This is Harvard’s primary center for research on sustainable international development. CID has been established with one overriding conceptual notion: the need for cross-disciplinary approaches to the challenges of sustainable development

• Debt Initiative for the heavily indebted poor countries (HIPCs)

The RPDS conducts research in economics and related fields at both a theoretical and empirical level. Its work is funded in part by the National Institutes of Health, the World Bank, and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation

• SAPRI (Structural Adjustment Participatory Review Initiative)
In order to analyse the impacts that structural adjustment has had in many developing countries, certain NGOs challanged the World Bank to undertake a review of structural adjustment programmes and to explore new adjustment options in conjunction with CSOs.
Thus, in 1996 SAPRI was developed through consultations between World Bank country teams and a global network of CSOs formed for the exercise.
