London South Bank University, Faculty of Health and Social Care

The Faculty of Health and Social Care is the largest of the University's four faculties with over 7,000 students and 350 teaching and research staff. It is the UK's second largest provider of nurse education and trains one in four of London's nurses and health and social care professionals.

Boasting two research centres, over 25 research students are supported by 12 professors and readers and the Faculty runs externally-funded research programmes worth over £1.5million. We are also at the forefront of the NHS Modernisation and Service Improvement agenda through the design and implementation of a range of practice and innovative workforce redesign programmes.

As a University we take the future employability of our students very seriously and courses are tailor-made to ensure they give graduates the skills and experience to equip them for their future careers. As a Faculty we have an unrivalled record of student employment, with 98% of our students securing full-time work within three months of completing their studies.
