At a time when our society is inundated with information by traditional media and the information superhighway, stakeholders, decision-makers and citizens all need reliable, objective and easily accessible information. They want information from credible sources. An institute serving citizens, companies and political decision-makers. STATEC provides such an information service. STATEC was one of the first public services to launch several projects within the eGovernment programme, making as many services as possible available on-line. As an active provider, STATEC encourages recourse to user-friendly means of data transmission.
