Research: Dr. Seltzer's research has appeared in Public Relations Review, the Journal of Public Relations Research, the Public Relations Journal, the Journal of Sports Media, and the International Journal of Sport Communication. He has presented at the annual conferences of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, the International Communication Association, and the International Public Relations Research Conference. His research interests include using coorientation to measure organization-public relationships, agenda building, framing and relationship management.
Experience: Dr. Seltzer has seven years of professional experience including work in public relations, political campaigning and public administration. He previously taught communications courses at the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida.
Leadership / awards: Dr. Seltzer is a member of ICA and AEJMC. He won the 2005 Ketchum Excellence in Public Relations Research Award for his paper "Measuring the Impact of Public Relations: Using a Coorientational Approach to Analyze the Organization-Public Relationship."
