International Master in Comparative Social Research
The Higher School of Economics and the HSE Laboratory for Comparative Social Research are delighted to announce the opening of the Master in Comparative Social Research program!
The program is geared toward ambitious students wishing to build careers as sociologists in academia and research institutions. This academic-track master program will begin in September 2014 and has the following features:
- Training in comparative sociological methods, theory, and in academic publishing
- Spend the first semester studying in Moscow, the second semester in St. Petersburg, the third semester conducting a research internship with international partners, and the final semester with an advisor, affiliated with a research laboratory.
- World-renowned scholars and partner institutions. Prof. Ronald Inglehart is the program's scientific supervisor.
- Stipends and tuition waivers are available for top students. Cheap university housing will be arranged for all students.
International and Russian students with a BA degree, 'specialist' degree, from neighbouring disciplinary backgrounds and sociology, are welcome to apply. Application process is open until July 15th. APPLY NOW!
