The 9th Annual Conference of Asian Law and Economics Association (jointly with the 10th Biennial Pacific Rim Conference) will be held at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan on 14-17 March 2013. The deadline for abstract submission is October 15, 2012. The conference is organized by the Western Economic Association International (WEAI) in collaboration with the Asia Law and Economics Association, the International Banking, Economics, and Finance Association, the International Economics and Finance Society Japan (IEFS Japan), the Japan Health Economics Association and the Japan Risk Management Society.

Send the following to WEAI:
- Cover sheet with paper presenter's name, professional affiliation, mailing address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address, academic degrees held; same information for coauthors; paper title (limit 60 characters and spaces); and paper topic area (three appropriate codes from the JEL Classification System for Journal Articles).
- Abstract of 350 words or less.
- Paper submission and registration fees are due at the time of submission. Paper submission is US$75, and is non-refundable if paper is accepted. Registration is US$250 for WEAI members, US$325 for non-members (or join now and save!), and US$150 for students. 50% of the registration fee is refundable before February 1. After February 1, the registration is non-refundable due to the high administrative cost of reorganizing the affected sessions and participants. WEAI Institutional Member affiliates receive a 20 percent discount on conference fees.
