With its base in Rome, close to a wealth of research resources and facilities, the Department of Economics and Business of LUISS University has a record of demonstrated research excellences and substantial experience in providing and managing research supervision.

The mission of the Department is to provide high quality research in both national and international contexts, undertaking a variety of academic activities and establishing regional, national and international links with other academics, policy-makers and representatives of the business world. This include informal exchanges of ideas, joint research projects and publications and seminars inviting outside specialists as well as research students and staff to participate.

The Department can offer supervision leading to the awards of Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy across all its major areas of research activities.

The Department prides itself on supporting not only theoretical but also “real world” research that address the challenges which the world faces today and in future.
